The new tires are here: Bridgestone Potenza RE92 P165/65R13

A lot of work has been done since the last update. All new fuel and water hoses has been put in. A new alternator has also been fitted and an electric radiator fan has been added.

Old Grill

January 11th, 2005

Just for fun a grill from a Series 1 – 2 Alpine has been installed. The mounting holes are different and the grill opening on the early cars is smaller so you going to have to mess with things to get it to look good. I think it looks much better than the Talbot bar.

Even the jack

November 29th, 2004

All metal parts have been removed, sandblasted and painted. New competition springs are going in later.

The factory jack has been given the same treatment and probably looks better now than it did new.

Ugly Blue Engine

November 25th, 2004

Here is the engine as it arrived. Looks pretty ugly with the light blue paint. Everything will be sandblasted and turned to it’s original color. This sprites engine should be Hammertone Green.

1969 Austin Healey Sprite

November 13th, 2004

Here is the Sprite as it was picked up. It has disc wheels in the front and wire wheels with a wire wheel rear end in the back. It hadn’t been started in five years but after some plug and wire changes and a drain of the gas tank it ran pretty well.
