The new tires are mounted and ready to go on the car.



The tires are no longer round and will need replaced. While I have the tires off I will sandblast and paint them.


All new lights and fixtures have been installed on the front.

The door repair is almost finished and will need one last spray. Here the door gap is being adjusted.

The fenders and lights have been bolted on and the car is now running and driving.

The Arkley was an English automobile, manufactured by John Britten Garages workshops at Arkley in the London Borough of Barnet. The retro “bug-eyed” design was inspired by a mixture of the Morgan and the original Austin Healey Sprite. They were built on Midget and Sprite chassis, engine and drivetrain.


The door has been sanded down and the filler from a previous owner has been removed for some dent repair.

With the fenders, hood and grill on it is starting to look like a car again.

The rusted metal has been cut out, replaced and now smoothed in with fiberglass.
