Starting off slowly on the bodywork.


While the heads are dissasembled and ready to be sent off to be machined.
The engine compartment is cleaned up and the body is ready to be sent over to get final body work and paint.

The engine has been removed and cleanup of the engine compartment is needed.


The gear that drives the distributor was ground away after one of the centripetal weights locked up the distributor.
A complete engine tear down is necessary for this engine.


New Lumination ignition system.

The ignition amplifier from a XJS had been fitted into the OPUS housing for a stock look.


The door repair is almost finished and will need one last spray. Here the door gap is being adjusted.

The door has been sanded down and the filler from a previous owner has been removed for some dent repair.

The first drive to check for problem parts, this trip showed that the alternator belt needed tensioned.

To keep the window from blowing out under pressure/vacuum I have added a little aluminum brace.


To be able to drive the car before it goes in for paint I decided to fabricate my own rear window that could be easily installed and removed.
